Design, Camera and Display

Alright, we can touch upon many details here but we’ll try to keep it short. Design-wise, Ulefone Gemini is certainly stylish – its back is slightly rounded toward the edges for the sake of a firmer grip. The surface resembles brushed aluminum and in addition to the manufacturer’s logo, it also carries the dual rear camera. The latter uses a 13MP and an 8MP sensor to help you create the so called “bokeh” or out of focus pleasantly blurred areas behind the subject of your photograph.

As for the front, it boasts a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution above which there is a 5MP front-facing camera. In addition, the area below the phone’s display holds something new – we find a fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the display uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and the 2.5D Arc Screen technology. The former makes sure that you won’t break your screen if you drop it from a reasonable distance, while the latter contributes to the phone’s overall style with its slightly curved sides.

Hardware and Software

Now, we must also say a few words about what makes Ulefone Gemini operate. Firstly, it uses a quad-core MediaTek processor – MTK6737 (1.5 GHz). It is accompanied by 3GB of RAM (not that common for devices from this price range) and 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a TF card slot (supports up to 256GB). If you do not download too many movies or music to your device, 32GB should be enough.

Also, this bad boy comes with a 3250 mAh, which may not be the largest capacity unit out there but sounds okay for this price range. Software-wise, you receive the smartphone with Android 6.0 but there will be an update to the latest Android 7.0 Nougat version.
