NVIDIA announces its new GeForce Game Ready drivers which are focused on the performance of the GeForce 10 series graphics cards, particularly on the DirectX 12 technology. The new drivers aim to improve gaming performance when playing AAA titles by an average of 16% increase in frame rates. The games that NVIDIA lists are: Ashes of The Singularity, Gears of War 4, Hitman, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Tom Clancy’s The Division.

The improvement that the company is promising is something big especially when considering that they want to increase the performance of the graphics cards (even those from the GeForce 900 series) when using the DirectX 12 API. NVIDIA unveiled its plans to collaborate with the game developers to ensure maximum optimization of DX12 in future titles.

The green company claims that the release of the new drivers will match with some upcoming titles. It’s interesting to see what improvement will the driver bring to the fresh GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.

NVIDIA is naming its new driver Game Ready DirectX 12 – GeForce 378.74. The improvement that we mentioned above was revealed by the online magazine Videocardz. The results are listed below. If the information is true this will make the Pascal generation one of the most notable ones in NVIDIA’s history.

Apart from all the aforementioned benefits, the new platform will feature a system that will register crashes caused by the graphics card. The name of the system is Aftermath. It is expected to see the system integrated in some games and NVIDIA is also working with Microsoft to standardize the new feature.
