In addition to other very interesting updated features, the Galaxy S6 has new cameras – 16MP (back) and 5MP (front).The main camera offers a LED flash, fast autofocus and an OIS. It can take 4K video, record in Slow Motion, up to 8X slower than real time, or even in Fast Motion – up to 32X faster than real time. Also, there are some entirely new features, such as the ability to open the Camera app with a double click of the home button. The camera will be ready to take a photo in only 0.7 seconds.

The front camera is also updated and now it can make better selfies and includes an HDR mode. Both cameras come with an aperture of f/1.9, which brings 34% more light to the back camera and 60% to the front one, when compared to the Galaxy S5 camera. This means that you can take great night photos.

We tested it and compared our sample photos to the ones taken with Nexus 6. The difference is easy to spot and, in any case, Samsung have done a good job.
