Inside Dell Inspiron 15 3593 – disassembly and upgrade options
The Inspiron 15 3593 is a budget offering from Dell that covers a wide gamut of people worldwide, who need a well-performing, energy-efficient laptop at a good price tag.

1. Remove the bottom plate
So, the first thing you need to do when you open this boy up is to remove the optical drive. This can be done by unscrewing the middle-most screw and after that just pop the drive out with your fingers. Then, unscrew the rest of the screws with a Phillips screwdriver and pop the panel out with a plastic tool.
2. Battery
Our unit came with one of Dell’s most popular battery units – a 42Wh one. This would be the first thing you want to unplug before you start upgrading your notebook. On the other side, if you need to change the battery itself, there are four screws that have to be removed before you can remove it.
3. Memory and storage
When it comes to upgradability, you are looking at a very neat laptop. It supports up to 32GB of memory across two RAM DIMMS. They can reach speeds of up to 3200 MHz. Then comes the storage options, which include a 2.5″ SATA drive slot, as well as one M.2 PCIe x4 slot, which fits up to 2TB and 1TB of storage respectively.
4. Cooling system
Then again, the cooling itself is not special, whatsoever. It features a long, bulky heat pipe that cools off both chips – certainly not the best of them all, but definitely the most common out there.

Can an graphics card be added
its a yes and a no, Because laptops have mobile graphics cards which are veryy pricey and pretty hard to replace, but you could also hook up an egpu
and connect it via Thunderbolt cable(that is, if your laptop does have a Thunderbolt port) a pci cable, m.2 etc.
¿Can I remove the gpu (mx230) ?
I don’t use it, it has a lower performance than the IRIS G7 which includes the CPU and I hope that helps to generate less heat.
