You haven’t forgotten Chromebooks, have you? Well, in case you have, this news will refresh your memory of these peculiar notebooks, as there seems to be a new bad boy on the horizon. We are talking about the Acer Chromebook 11 C771.

If you happen to show interest, you could check all currently available Acer Chromebooks here: http://amzn.to/2hMnhYt

This little fellow comes with a dual-core 6th Gen Intel Celeron 3855U (2×1.6GHz) processor (although there will be Core i3 and i5 options), accompanied by Intel HD Graphics 510 GPU, as you might expect. Additionally, the Acer Chromebook 11 C771 sports 4GB of RAM and 32GB eMMC of internal storage, but you can also expand via a microSD card. It is claimed that the battery on this one can hold up for up to 13 hours of work, which sounds truly commendable.

As far as design is concerned, there is nothing out of the ordinary here – just the rugged Chromebook look. We cannot miss the fact that this product weighs only 1.35 kg which makes it a great mobile companion. Also, it is MIL-STD 810G-certified which means that it’s extremely sturdy and can withstand pressure of 132 pounds and drops from a meter or so. The lid carries the Chrome and Acer logos while the front offers a 11.6-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Just above the screen you will find a 720p webcam for video calls. As far as connectivity options are concerned, you get one USB-C (3.1), two USB 3.0 ports, a 3.5 mm audio jack and Wi-Fi ac with 2×2 MIMO.

The device is expected to appear next month and it will sell for around $279.99 (Celeron processor, no touch screen) and $329.99 (Core i3/i5 with touch screen).
