We are happy to share with you some lines on a CPU which is new to our Top Laptop CPU Ranking – we are talking about the Intel Core i7-8700. It landed on the 5th position in our chart and, as you might figure, the demonstrated performance is commendable. And so, this 14nm Coffee Lake chip boasts a base frequency of 3.20 GHz, and a max speed of 4.60 GHz. Additionally, we are looking at six cores and 12 logical threads. You might also wish to know that the TDP of this bad boy is 65W. As for the memory, we are looking at a DDR4-2666 support for up to 64GB. The maximum operating temperature of this chip is 100 °C. We must also mention that the processor comes with the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 that has a base frequency of 350.00 MHz and a maximum one of 1200 MHz.
