Not long ago we published a short article featuring the new Lenovo ideapad 330 (15″) budget series so it’s high time we took a look at its bigger sibling – the Lenovo ideapad 330 (17″), which, essentially, is an affordable laptop suitable for day-to-day usage.

In terms of hardware, the choice goes up to the latest 8th gen Intel Core processors which are backed up by up to 8 GB of DDR4 RAM. As for the graphics side of things, here we have the dedicated NVIDIA GeForce MX150 (2GB GDDR5) or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (2GB GDDR5) GPUs. In addition, up to 1000GB HDD should be enough to meet your storage needs.

Additionally, the 17.3-inch configurations offer Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS and HD+ (1600 x 900) TN display options to choose from. The notebook also features dimensions of 419 x 292 x 24.9 mm and weighs 2.80 kg (6.2 lbs). In terms of connectivity, Lenovo ideapad 330 (17″) covers the basics. You are presented with 2x USB 3.0 Type-A ports, HDMI, SD card reader, combo audio jack, as well as Security Lock slot.

To sum things up, given the budget nature of the notebook, it is only natural that it lacks some desired features. However, a starting price of around $499 is pretty reasonable for what you are provided with.
