The new MEIZU m2 note vs m1 note – detailed comparison
A few days back we informed you that MEIZU will release a descendant of the m1 note. The official announcement of m2 is now a fact so we can make a detailed comparison between the two devices and show you the differences between them.
Starting from the design, m2 is almost the same as m1, only 0.2 mm thinner and 4g lighter according to the official reports. Another design change is the physical home button. The Power button is also placed on a more convenient spot on the side, not on the top. Apparently, MEIZU heard the complaints about the lack of a microSD slot for additional memory in m1 note, but if you want to take advantage of it you have to trade for one of the SIM slots.

Software-wise changes come down to an upgraded operating system and richer user interface. MEIZU m2 note will come with pre-installed Android 5.0 Lollipop and Flyme 4.5 UI.
There is a minor battery capacity difference, as far as hardware goes, and a slight change of the mobile chip. It is again MediaTek is the manufacturer but this time it goes by the number Mediatek MT6753. It feautues 8x Cortex A53 cores but this time they’re running at 1.3 GHz instead of 1.7 GHz. The GPU isn’t Mali-T760 anymore but Mali-T720 instead.
You can see a detailed comparison of the technical specifications of the two models below. Don’t even think that we won’t put the new m2 note through our well-known tests as soon as we get our hands on it.
