All drivers and manuals are available on Samsung’s Support Portal. Additionally, you can download the Easy Setting Box app, which gives you the option to create layouts and grids for multitasking.
Design and Connectivity
The design of the Samsung Odyssey G3 LS27AG300 comes with thin bezels on the sides and the top, while the chin is a lot thicker, bearing a Samsung logo as well as two protruding pieces on both ends, which make the monitor feel more rugged than it actually is. The backside has a textured pattern but is still entirely made from plastic. Color accuracy

Since it’s custom-tailored for every panel, it manages to keep the colors perceptually accurate (they may seem strange at first but after a few minutes our brain will start recognizing them as accurate ones – that’s how Health-Guard differs from alternatives like f.lux).
Pro Tip: As the Health-Guard profile simulates paper and has as accurate as possible colors, it could be a great tool for prepress designers!

Gaming and Movies

Verdict
The Samsung Odyssey G3 LS27AG300 is a great budget gaming monitor, thanks to its features. At 1080p, the 144Hz refresh rate and the FreeSync Premium support deliver smooth and tear-free gameplay. However, the Odyssey G3 offers features that make it more than a gaming monitor.
The design and construction are some of the best that we’ve seen, allowing you to ergonomically adjust the monitor in the best possible way. This is due to the stand, which adjusts in pretty much every way.
Now, getting to the crux of today’s tests, the Odyssey G3 gives us a pretty decent color coverage for a gaming monitor, at 89% of the sRGB color gamut. While not exactly, groundbreaking, this is great for gaming and good enough for a graphic designer, especially considering the color accuracy, which reaches very good levels.
Before our tune-up, the monitor has a dE value of 3.1. After applying our Web Design and Office Work profile, the dE value drops down to 1.3, which is a 2.4X increase. With it, the Samsung monitor can handle color-sensitive work.
Our other profiles improve the work of the monitor in other ways. For example, the Gaming and Movies profile keeps the black colors stable, which means that you can see more out of dark scenes and environments in both games and movies. As for the Health-Guard, it’s probably the most important one of the bunch, as health is always #1. It eliminates Blue Light emissions and PWM (Flickering), both of which have negative effects on your eyes and body.
