Acer Aspire F (F5-572G) in-depth review

Acer has recently launched its F 15 series notebooks that aim to fill the gap between the E 15 lineup and the V15 laptops so this means relatively low price tag and the absence of IPS panel. Pros

  • Unconventional design with good choice of materials
  • Excellent input devices (keyboard and touchpad)
  • Good performance/price ration (good value)
  • No PWM for most brightness levels (it's present only below 55 cd/m2, which is unusable at this level)

Cons

  • Slightly underwhelming image quality (low contrast, brightness and sRGB coverage)
  • Subpar battery life
