Some good several years after Apple's bizarre ad, where a child has asked the question "what is a computer", we can comfortably say that this is possible. But not because of Apple. Quite interestingly, the reason for that is Microsoft, itself. The Surface Pro 8 is a tablet that doubles as a fairly powerful laptop.
