1. Remove the bottom plate

To take this notebook apart, you need to undo 13 Phillips-head screws. Then, pry the bottom panel with a plastic tool starting from one of the front two corners.

2. Remove the battery

Inside, we find a 90Wh battery pack. It is fairly easy to remove it. Just unplug the battery connector from the motherboard, and undo the four Phillips-head screws that mount it to the chassis.

3. Upgrade memory and storage

Memory-wise, you get two SODIMM slots that work with DDR5 RAM and support 64GB in total. As for storage, you can see two M.2 PCIe x4 slots, both of which work with Gen 4 SSDs.

4. Cooling system

In terms of cooling, there are four heat pipes shared between the CPU and the GPU. There is one more dedicated to the graphics memory and the VRMs. In addition, you get three heat sinks, as well as one placed in the middle of the top two. The two main fans come with a small cutout in their body panels, diverting some of the air inwards via some foam guidelines. Then, the third fan grabs that airflow and takes it out of the laptop through the long heat sink in the middle.
