We tested the durability of Huawei P8lite’s 2200 mAh battery

We’re still testing the capabilities of Huawei P8lite, but for now, we’re prepared to share with you the first results of the battery tests. The battery itself has a capacity of 2200 mAh, which we can consider to be nothing out of the ordinary, given the thin profile of the device. It has to provide enough power for the 5-inch IPS HD screen and the 8-core Kirin 620 processor with its economical Cortex-A53 cores.

On our Wi-Fi web surfing test the device got 532 minutes (8 hours and 52 minutes) – a relatively good achievement. The video playback test result was lower – 422 minutes (7 hours and 2 minutes). As expected, the lowest score was on the 3D gaming test, where the charge was enough for 220 minutes (3 hours and 40 minutes), which is not the highest per se, but still met our expectations. You’ll be able to find more information and results from our tests in the upcoming review of the device.

thanks a lot for testing battery life for p8 lite because its only 2200 mAh …
