In this comparison, we have two chips by AMD – Ryzen 5 4600H and Ryzen 5 3550H. Both of these CPUs are made for mobile devices and both are middle-class processors. The Ryzen 5 4600H is based on the Zen 2 microarchitecture while the 3550H is based on the Zen+ microarchitecture. Specifications

As you can see, there are quite a few differences between the Ryzen 5 4600H and the 3550H. Firstly, the 4600H has 6 cores and 12 threads which should make it the superior CPU for multi-core tasks. Overall, the new addition to the AMD family – Ryzen 5 4600H is performing better than the Ryzen 5 3550H. In terms of CPU power, the 4600H is doing undoubtedly better than the 3550H. In terms of graphics efficacy, there are not many huge differences, with the 4600H being 15% faster on average. All in all, both CPUs are performing very well, but if you have to choose between the two, go with the Ryzen 5 4600H.
