ASUS to announce its new ROG GL504 with Core i7-8750H and GeForce GTX 1070

The Taiwanese tech giant ASUS is preparing to release its brand new ROG GL504 notebook that combines stylish looks with high performance for all the gaming maniacs out there.

Let’s see what this gaming beast has to offer. The new ROG will be powered by the latest 8th gen Intel Core i5-8300H / i7-8750H processor backed up by a maximum of 32 GB DDR4-2666 RAM. Under the hood, you will also find the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or GTX 1070 graphics card. As for storage, the model comes with up to 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe + 1TB SSHD.

Another significant feature of the device is its 15.6-inch IPS-level matte display with Full HD resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, thanks to the ultra-narrow bezel design you are able to make the most of the gaming experience as the screen area is increased to the maximum. It’s even fairly convenient to run your favorite titles on the go due to the light weight of just 2.4 kg and 26.1 mm thin profile. In the interior, we notice a keyboard with an RGB backlight that can be customized according to your choice and also boasts a highlighted WASD key group and N-key rollover technology. In addition, the keystrokes are fast and accurate thanks to the overstroke technology.

Moving on, the notebook is armed with a whole arsenal of connectivity options including 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port, 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A port, mini DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI, RJ-45 jack, SD card reader, as well as 3.5m combo audio jack.

We found the GL504GS in Poland for 8600 ZL so we expect the configuration with 256 GB SSD + 1TB SSHD, GTX 1070 and i7-8750H to sell for around $2300 (~2000 EUR) in Europe and $1999 in the USA.
