The 10-core Helio X25 mobile chip will debut with the new Meizu Pro 6

During their official event, MediaTek demonstrated the capabilities of their new Helio X 20 SoC, which boasts 10 cores and will hit the market along with the new Meizu Pro 6 smartphone. The information comes from Meizu representatives. Speaking of which, they only hinted a few things like the device having 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage – quite impressive, isn’t it?

As for the Helio X25 SoC, it is sort of an improved version of the X20. The chip has 10 cores separated into three clusters – two of them boast four Corex-A53 cores each while the third one has two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.5 GHz. The GPU, on the other hand, is clocked at 850 MHz. Also, the manufacturer promises lower power consumption despite the impressive performance.
