We have a new laptop series this time suitable for educational and business purposes – meet the HP Chromebook 14 G5 whose specs sheet is briefly covered in our short article.

Under its hood, you will find an Intel Celeron processor – Intel Celeron N3060, Intel Celeron N3350 or Intel Celeron N3450. These processors are backed up by up to 8 GB of LPDDR4-2400 SDRAM, while the storage options include up to 64 GB SSD. As for the graphics card, you can choose between Intel HD Graphics 500 (Apollo Lake) and Intel HD Graphics 400 (Braswell).

In addition, there are two display options for the HP Chromebook 14 G5. The 14-inch configurations either boast a TN panel with HD (1366 x 768) resolution or an IPS one with Full HD (1920 x 1080) res. Other features include an anti-glare coating, maximum brightness of 220 nits, as well as 72% sRGB color gamut coverage. The notebook is also fairly portable – it comes with dimensions of 466 x 227 x 18.3 mm and 1.54 kg (3.4 lbs) weight including the 2-cell 47Wh battery unit.

In terms of connectivity options, you are presented with a decent variety – 2x USB 3.0 Type-C ports, 2x USB 3.0 Type-A ports, microSD card reader, combo audio jack, as well as Security Lock slot.
