Dell XPS 15 9530 review – hij hoeft niet eens veranderd te worden
De XPS-serie van Dell bestaat al meer dan 10 jaar. In al die tijd heeft de XPS-serie slechts een paar grote veranderingen in het ontwerp ondergaan. Eerlijk gezegd is Dell zijn concurrenten op dit gebied altijd een stap voor geweest, dus we moeten ze wat dit betreft wat ruimte gunnen.
Aan de andere kant krijgt het apparaat jaarlijks updates, die gepaard gaan met een naamsverandering – zo is de XPS 15 9530 herboren (alleen wat betreft de naam, natuurlijk).
Dit 2023 model is voorzien van Intel’s 13e generatie CPU’s. Daarnaast krijg je een ruime keuze aan grafische kaarten. Intel is nog opdringeriger geworden in de laptopwereld, omdat het nu ook low-end gaming GPU’s levert – de Arc A370M in dit geval.
Aan de andere kant kun je kijken naar de aanbiedingen van NVIDIA om iets krachtigers en representatievers te krijgen – de keuze omvat de RTX 4050, RTX 4060 en de RTX 4070. Ze hebben echter allemaal vrij lage TGP’s, in overeenstemming met de lage thermische capaciteit van het chassis.

I can comment on the display since I have this and the 4K. The difference is huge. 4k display is much, but much, better. This display is blurry compared to the 4K. When you get a 4K laptop and you go back to FHD+ you will notice for sure. Just my 2 cents for the people who have doubts about which one to buy. 4K, it’s worth the money.
