Introducing the Dell Inspiron 5558 (15 5000) series – an advantageous business notebook

We already informed you about the best prices of the new Dell Inspiron 5558 in Europe, but let’s have a little more detailed look at the hardware that the model has to offer.

In terms of performance, the CPU choices come down to Intel Core i3-4005U, Core i5-5200U or the most powerful Core i7-5500U. You can choose between 3 GPUs – Intel HD Graphics 4400, HD Graphics 5500 and NVIDIA GeForce 920M with 2GB DDR3 or 4GB DDR3. The amount of RAM can be either 4GB or 8GB. Regular connectivity is at hand – Bluetooth 4.0, 3 USB ports, one of which is 3.0, HDMI out and a card reader.

You can expect high-quality sound thanks to the Waves MaxxAudio technology along with precise and comfortable touchpad, which offers different functionalities, at least according to Dell. The battery is 4-cell and Dell claims that it provides “great” durability.

Each model have 15.6-inch glossy displays with either 1366 x 768 or Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. Another significant difference is the amount of free space that can vary from 500 GB up to 2 TB.
