Finally, we have a Ryzen 6000U-series CPU to test, which looks to be the beacon of hope for AMD’s laptop hopes in 2022.

While Intel dominates the high TDP field, thanks to their Alder Lake H-series chips, AMD has a big shot at offering better performance and efficiency on the low TDP land, as their U-series CPUs have been excellent in recent years.

Today we have the Ryzen 7 6800U which will get a quick sparring session against the Ryzen 7 5700U, to see how much of a jump the new series has made.

Conclusion

The new 6000U-series processors should be on top of a lot of people’s lists, as you can get a powerful and efficient notebook that can also handle a fair share of gaming. This is where we think AMD outshines Intel, even with their 12th Gen CPUs, they can’t touch the performance of AMD’s new iGPUs or the efficiency of their processors.
