The temperatures test is one of our most interesting ones. In it we simulate a long 3D gaming session (for over an hour) with the Epic Citadel app, after which we measure the external temperatures of the device. We usually highlight only the hottest points in three different areas of the smartphone.

In the case of P8lite, the warmest point was near the camera, where our digital thermometer measured 45.5 degrees. The value in the middle area was almost identical – 45.5 degrees. The maximum temperature in the lower area was 43 degrees. The curious thing is that all of these temperatures were measured on the left side of phone, while on the right, even after the heavy loads, the temperatures were around 10 degrees lower. We still have to note that the measured values are slightly higher than usual.
