27151_1_intel_rejects_the_idea_that_they_are_going_bga_only_full_2 Shortly after the release of the Broadwell CPUs, surprisingly Intel announced its new Skylake lineup shortening the release cycle of the previous 5th generation. Nonetheless, Intel claims that the Skylake CPUs are the most significant due to its wireless capabilities and power-efficiency features.

Not only that, but the new Skylake processors will now support Thunderbolt 3, Iris Pro and will be able to run up to 4 external monitors with HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2. However, the most impressive part of the Skylake chips is that even the mobile versions will be able to handle up to three 4K UHD external monitors. Furthermore, Intel plans to release its first ever mobile CPUs that are unlocked for overclocking which would be a huge deal for some gamers and geeks.
