To get inside this device, you need to undo a total of 11 Phillips-head screws. One of them is captive and lifts the bottom panel, so you can start the prying process from there. Don’t forget to remove the LED ribbon cable.

Inside, we see a 90Wh battery pack. To take the battery out, unplug its connector from the motherboard, and undo the four Phillips-head screws that keep it in place.

Memory-wise, there are two SODIMM slots, that work with DDR5 RAM in dual-channel mode. As for storage, you get two M.2 PCIe x4 slots, both of which support Gen 4 SSDs.

In terms of cooling, there are two heat pipes shared between the CPU and the GPU, with one more dedicated to each of them. Furthermore, you get a heat pipe cooling the graphics memory and the VRMs, while four heat sinks and two fans deal with heat dissipation.

I would say that the biggest “Con” is that it doesn’t come with USB4 or even Thunderbolt-4. These cannot be easily installed as an upgrade. But also there is the fact that they’re trying to pass this off as a Mid Tier gaming rig but it’s actually only a little better than the RTX4060 which has the same amount of VRAM for less money (8gb). You should NOT buy a gaming computer with less than 12GB of VRAM today. Honestly if you can’t afford the 4080 then you’d do fine with a 4060.
