Lenovo ThinkBook 16 Gen 4+ review – near silent business laptop with metal build and good battery life
Some business users need powerful laptops for productivity tasks. In most cases, these machines aren’t too portable so they stay in the office on a desk. On the flip side, if you are constantly on the go and you want a potent and thin laptop in your backpack, there are some interesting options on the market.
Like the Lenovo ThinkBook 16 Gen 4+ which is more compact compared to its bigger sibling – the Lenovo ThinkBook 16p Gen 4. The Gen 4+ machine is light (for a 16-incher) and it comes with a choice of three display variants – one 1200p model and two 1600p variants. The good news is all of them are IPS panels with a 16:10 aspect ratio. There are many CPU options including 12th Gen U, P, and H-series processors and two Raptor Lake U chips. So you can choose the right device for you in terms of raw power – it could be an efficient and snappy laptop with a Core i3-1215U or you can get a high-powered notebook with a Core i9-12900H.
Good connectivity is a must for such a laptop and things are looking bright here. The I/O seems full of useful ports, and you can pick the notebook with an optional Wi-Fi 6E. This machine has passed the MIL-STD-810H military test so we can hope that the chassis is rigid.
