Lenovo V15 Gen 3 review – third generation of plastic efficiency
Lenovo markets the V15 Gen 3 as a laptop that brings premium performance at an exceptional value. This is not far from the truth, but there are surely some underlying things about it, that we’re soon going to find out.
When it comes to affordable notebooks, Lenovo is king. It produces everything from IdeaPads, V15, V155, ThinkBook, and so forth. However, the V15 has always been characterized by compromises made in favor of performance.
This seems to be the case here, too. The Gen 3 model can be found with Intel’s Alder Lake U-series or the Ryzen 5000U Refresh CPUs. The two models differ by the three symbols at the end of their name – “V15 G3 IAP” for Intel, and “V15 G3 ABA” for AMD.
We bought ourselves the Intel model. Regardless of that, the review is relevant for the entire series, due to the minimal difference between the two models. One feature shared by them is the display.
You can either get a TN or an IPS panel with a Full HD resolution. Needless to say, you should aim for the IPS screen, but unfortunately, we were only able to snatch a model with the TN panel.

What’s in the box?
Inside the package, you will find some paperwork, as well as a 65W charger. There are two options – one with a barrel plug, one with a USB Type-C connector, and support for Power Delivery 3.0.

As an IT, i prefer to buy these to newcomers to company. Low quality material but nice performance for intense excel jobs; as long as the hinge brings no problem; i think the buys are good choice for me.
