9.7 – inch screen and iOS 10 operating system

As you can guess from the name, the display of iPad 9.7 is 9.7-inch and features an IPS panel and LED backlight. Its resolution is 2048 x 1536 pixels providing image detail of around 264 ppi. What’s more, the aspect ratio is 4:3. In addition, the screen is protected from scratches, while the oleophobic coating will handle oily fingerprints.

The battery has a capacity of 8827 mAh, while the operating system is iOS 10. As far as connectivity options are concerned, you get Bluetooth 4.2, A2DP, EDR, LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.

2 GB RAM and 8 MP main camera

The processor Apple A9 takes care of the performance of iPad 9.7. If has two cores running at clock speeds of up to 1.84GHz. Also, the available GPU here is PowerVR GT7600. In addition, you get 2 GB of RAM and you can choose a model with either 32 GB or 128 GB internal storage.

And last but certainly not least – the specifications of both cameras. The main sensor is 8 MP and features autofocus and f/2.4 aperture thanks to which you can take high-quality pictures in low light. Moreover, you can record either 1080p or 720p video at 30 or 120 fps respectively depending on the model. The specs sheet is complemented by face detection, HDR, touch focus and geo-tagging. The front camera is 1.2 MP and has f/2.2 aperture. You can record a 720p video at 30 fps.
