Opening the Acer Aspire Go

Hint: Make sure the device is powered off and unplugged before disassembly.

Undo the 10 Phillips-head screws securing the bottom panel to the chassis.
Use a thin plastic tool to pry the back of the panel and pop the top edges.
Continue prying along the sides and the front to release all internal clips.

Battery Removal

Caution: Handle the battery carefully and avoid contact with the connectors using metal tools.

Detach the battery connector by pulling it gently toward the battery.
Undo the two Phillips-head screws holding the 53Wh battery in place.
