How to open Acer TravelMate P2 (TMP216-51-G2) – disassembly and upgrade options
Opening the Acer TravelMate P2
Hint: Power off the device and unplug all cables before starting disassembly.
- Undo the 13 Phillips-head screws securing the bottom panel to the chassis.
- Use a thin plastic tool to pop the top two edges of the panel.
- Continue prying along the sides and the back, then finish with the front to fully release the clips.
