🥉 #3 MSI Titan 18 HX

MSI would like you to believe that the Titan 18 is the most powerful gaming laptop in the world, and it probably can be, if it embraces the AMD side of the CPU world. The fact is that while Intel gets tons of buzz about its 14th Gen HX-series and Core Ultra processors when it comes to pure power, AMD has them beat with the Ryzen 7000 HX-series. The laptop is armed to the teeth with RGB, RAM, Storage, and whatnot, offering 192GB of DDR4 memory and 24TB of SSD space.

What the Titan 18 offers is a 24-core Core i9-14900HX along with a 175W RTX 4090. MSI promises a total power package of 270W combined for the CPU + GPU. With these parts, you’d need a big and great screen that can allow the laptop to rev up and push it to its limits. MSI has thought of that, supplying an 18-inch 16:10 UHD+ 120Hz IPS panel with a MiniLED backlight, increasing brightness and contrast to near-OLED levels.

🥉 #2 Lenovo Legion Pro 7

The second laptop in the ranking is the Lenovo Legion Pro 7, equipped with a Ryzen 9 7945HX, a 16-core, 32-thread CPU. The chip is currently #1 in our Top Laptop CPU Ranking, outperforming the Intel Core i9-14900HX by 10% on average in Cinebench R23. It’s got the same 175W RTX 4090 GPU, but a smaller 16-inch display with a lower QHD+ resolution, but a much faster 240Hz refresh rate.

In terms of memory and storage, this configuration doesn’t offer much, however, the Legion Pro 7 has both RAM and storage slots, so you can stack as much as you need and want.
