Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i (14, Gen 8) review – its cooling and display are very good
Performance: CPU, GPU, Gaming Tests
All benchmarks and tests were conducted with the “Extreme Performance” profile activated in the Lenovo Vantage app. Also, the “Switchable Graphics” mode is selected in the BIOS. In addition, the “Best performance” preset is activated in the Windows “Power & Battery” menu.
CPU options
Two CPU options are available – Intel Core i5-13500H and Core i7-13700H.
Here, we evaluate the CPU's performance using a real-world 3D rendering task, assessing its ability to handle complex computations and rendering workloads efficiently.
Results are from the Cinebench 2024 Multi-Core test (higher is better)
GPU options
If you need something more powerful than the iGPU inside of the CPU, you can get the optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 (Laptop, 60W, 6GB).
The results are from 3DMark Time Spy (Graphics). Higher is better.
Results are from 3DMark Fire Strike (Graphics) benchmark (higher the score, the better)
The results are from 3DMark Wild Life Extreme Unlimited. Higher is better.
Results are from the Unigine Superposition benchmark (higher the score, the better)
Gaming tests
The 6GB version of the GeForce RTX 3050 is mentioned as a 65W model in the NVIDIA Control panel. Still, Lenovo states a TGP of 60W.

The GeForce RTX 3050 (Laptop, 60W, 6GB) is a good budget mobile video card. It can still show around 60 FPS on Medium or High settings in some heavy titles.
