ASUS TUF Gaming F15 (FX507, 2023) review – hogere prijs maar betere prestaties
Verdict
De ASUS TUF Gaming F15 (FX507, 2023) heeft een zeer goede bouwkwaliteit. De poortenselectie is erg goed met een paar USB Type-A’s, een Thunderbolt 4 connector en een volwaardige USB Type-C poort. Daarnaast krijg je een echte HDMI 2.1-connector, een LAN-poort en een audio-aansluiting. Wat we missen is een SD-kaartlezer.
Aan de andere kant is de poortsituatie aan de binnenkant ook goed. Je krijgt twee DDR4 SODIMM slots voor geheugenuitbreiding en twee M.2 PCIe x4 slots voor Gen 4 SSD’s.
Laten we ook de geweldige batterijduur niet vergeten. We konden ongeveer 13 uur surfen op het web en bijna 11 uur en 30 minuten video afspelen. Dit is een uitstekend resultaat voor een spelcomputer. Je moet er echter wel rekening mee houden dat er één instelling is die moet worden ingeschakeld.
We hebben het over het adaptieve beeldscherm, dat zowel op 144Hz als op 60Hz kan draaien. Dit is een enorme factor in de efficiëntie die we zagen tijdens de batterijtest van deze notebook.
Het IPS-paneel van de ASUS TUF Gaming F15 (FX507, 2023) heeft een Full HD resolutie, comfortabele kijkhoeken en een fatsoenlijke contrastverhouding. Het dekt 92% van het sRGB-kleurengamma, terwijl ons Gaming en Web design profiel helpt bij het bereiken van een geweldige kleurnauwkeurigheid.
Daarnaast maakt het scherm geen gebruik van PWM om de helderheid aan te passen. Het vernieuwt met 144Hz, maar de pixelreactietijden zijn een beetje traag, wat kan leiden tot ghosting.
Helaas kunnen we de slechte CPU prestaties niet zomaar negeren. We hopen echt dat ASUS in de toekomst een update heeft die dit verhelpt. Er is een kans dat onze unit ook defect is, maar daar willen we niet op wedden.
Aan het eind van de dag is dit apparaat behoorlijk goed voor gaming. Ook het bewerken van foto’s kost bijna geen tijd. Als je het niet nodig hebt voor iets als 3D-modellering, zul je een goede tijd hebben met deze machine.

Hi, i have a question for you guys. i’m in doubt between buying the Asus TUF f15 with i7-12700H and RTX 4060 or the Acer Nitro 5 An517-55 with i7-12700H and RTX 3060. Hey, luca, Sorry that it took me ages to write you back. If I have to be completely honest with you, it really depends on what you need the laptop for. Ultimately, the RTX 4060 is the better GPU of the two, and naturally, if both devices share the same processor and price tag, the more viable option would be to go for the RTX 4060 (in this case, the TUF F15). I know this is late but how much is the wattage of the Nitro 5? remember even if its a 4060 if it has a lower wattage over the 3060, the 3060 will outperform the 4060

Hey. I just got this laptop yesterday and I’m having issues: performance in cb23 and timespy is much worse than I see here. I get 12000 graphic score in timespy, about 1500 / 14500 for cb23 single / multi.
Also in games it heats like to 90-95

Hello, I have a question about the RAM.
I have a asus TUF f15 FX507VV-ds91 with a i9 core and RTX4060 and 2x8gig 3200MHz DDR4 so-dimm
I wanted to know if it is possible upgrade this to a DDR5 so-dimm 32g or 64g RAM. I read from the asus website and it does support DDR5 rams but only at 24g RAM. So I am a bit confused on this matter.
