Opening the Acer Nitro V 16 AI (ANV16-61) is refreshingly simple: undo ten Phillips-head screws from the bottom plate. Once removed, the aluminium cover can be lifted by hand—no pry tools required if you work evenly along the front edge to release the clips without bending the panel.

Inside, a robust dual-fan cooling system stretches across the rear of the chassis. Each blower feeds a set of flattened copper heat pipes connected to two large black vapor chambers. Foam gaskets along the fin stacks ensure airflow moves through the radiators effectively rather than escaping into the case, keeping temperatures stable under heavy gaming loads.

Memory and Storage

Two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots sit neatly beneath the center of the heat pipe array. The platform supports up to 64 GB of RAM, and upgrades are straightforward—just pop in higher-capacity sticks later on if you need more memory.

Battery and Connectivity

The 76 Wh lithium-polymer battery (15.48 V, 4930 mAh) is secured by two Phillips-head screws and a single cable. Disconnecting the battery takes seconds using a plastic spudger, making replacements hassle-free.
Stereo speakers are positioned on either side of the battery, delivering audio directly through openings along the front edge of the chassis.
The Wi-Fi card and all I/O daughter-boards are modular and secured with standard Phillips screws, ensuring they can be replaced individually if needed.
