The Dell Inspiron 7559 adopts a Full HD IPS screen with decent properties but most of them fall short compared to the competition and since this is a gaming/multimedia-centric machine, some tweaks are needed in order to bring better viewing experience and overall picture quality. The Dell Inspiron 7559 has an IPS panel with with narrow sRGB coverage, close to optimal color temperature, and low maximum brightness but offers excellent contrast ratio. Our profiles will surely offer much better visibility, limit the blue light emissions and the PWM to some extent and also improve the color accuracy to a noticeable degree.

Office Work / Web Design

This profile aims to deliver the most accurate colors possible in the sRGB gamut – the colors used on the Web. That makes it suitable for Office work and, in some cases, for Web Design. However, this display doesn’t have the needed properties for color-sensitive work so we suggest looking for a laptop with a better IPS panel that has a wider sRGB coverage and more accurate colors out of the box. With our profile installed, the notebook has exceptionally low deltaE deviation which means accurate color reproduction – 0.89.

Along with the color adjustments, we were also able to tweak the white point and also made some corrections of the gamma curve.

Gaming and Movie Nights

You can take advantage of the Gaming and Movie Nights profile, which will improve the overall visibility – especially in darker areas of the image – during gaming and watching movies (you can see an example here). This profile will come in handy since the laptop is gaming/multimedia-oriented.

Health-Guard profile

As for the Health-Guard profile, it reduces the blue light impact and eliminates PWM to some extent. With the Health-Guard profile installed, the PWM is limited to some extent and so are the blue light emissions.
