Disassembly, Upgrade options, and Maintenance

To access this notebook’s internals, you need to undo a total of 9 Torx-head screws. Then, pry the bottom panel, starting from the back.

Our configuration is equipped with a 75.4Wh battery pack. To take it out, unplug the battery connector, and undo the five Phillips-head screws that keep the unit in place.

Here, the memory is soldered to the motherboard. You can either get 8GB of single-channel or 16GB of dual-channel RAM. Storage-wise, there is one M.2 PCIe x4 slot, which works with Gen 3 SSDs.

As for cooling, you get two heat pipes, one heat sink, and one fan. In addition, the VRMs are cooled by a heat spreader.
