[FPS Benchmarks] Cyberpunk 2077 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (85W) and RTX 3070 (130W) – expectedly the bigger GPU is much faster
Cyberpunk 2077 is probably the hottest gaming blockbuster this year. The game offers an interesting campaign that can be really long if you want to complete all the side missions.
Technically wise, the title looks impressive, especially when ray tracing is enabled. Sure, the game has some bugs (even now) but it looks like most of the bugs and glitches are gone. On the other hand, if you want to bump the settings, you’re going to need a very good gaming machine. So, for today’s article, we tested one of the newest GPUs on the market at the beginning of 2021 – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) and RTX 3070 (85W).
So, let’s see how far ahead is the bigger GPU.

Verdict
In this case, TGP is everything. With is 130W, the GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) boosts much higher compared to its smaller sibling. Most of the time, the bigger nephew is around 25% faster which is a significant difference.
On the other hand, the GeForce RTX 3070 [85W] is able to do 60 FPS on Ultra which is a great result considering that you can have this video card in a smaller and thin laptop because of the decreased TGP that leads to lower heat dissipation.
