Top 5 reasons to BUY or NOT buy the ASUS ZenBook Flip 15 UX563

The ASUS ZenBook Flip 15 UX563 is the bigger sibling of UX463. It has a bigger screen with 4K resolution and the same great build quality as the smaller one. The ScreenPad 2.0 is here too as well, and of course – the transforming abilities of the Flip series.

That’s why the 2-in-1 devices are so cool – you have one notebook that can be used in an office as a normal laptop, you can use it at home on your desk in a tent mode, and you can enjoy some entertaining content while you’re in the bed because you can flip the device into a tablet with one simple move. 4 reasons to BUY the ASUS ZenBook Flip 15 UX563

1. Great keyboard

The backlit keyboard is good for long typing sessions because the keycaps have long travel and clicky feedback. Unlike the UX463, this one has a NumberPad section.

2. Good 4K display

The 4K display BOE NE156QUM-N64 (BOE07D9) has superb viewing angles, decent contrast ratio 1090:1 (1040:1 after profiling), and good sRGB color coverage – 90%. The display is also PWM-free.

3. Superb battery life

The battery unit has a 71Wh capacity and we were able to fully drain it after more than 13 hours of Web browsing and over 12 hours of HD video content.

4. Performance and more

Our test device is equipped with an Intel Core i7-10510U and under load, its frequency is hovering just above the 3GHz mark and the device is super snappy all the time. This is great news because some other laptops configured with the same CPU can’t even maintain 2GHz. The UX563 is silent all the time no matter the load. We have to note some other great features of this device like the ErgoLift hinge, ScreenPad 2.0, NVMe support, and WiFi 6 as well.

1 reason not to BUY the ASUS ZenBook Flip 15 UX563

1. Soldered RAM

Nobody’s perfect and this laptop has a soldered RAM – pick your configuration carefully because you won’t be able to upgrade the system memory later. Sad but true.
