Today it’s time to discuss a machine by the American manufacturer Dell. We are talking about the flagship Dell XPS 13 (9380). It’s a premium device that can be used for content creation or just as a mobile assistant.

There are configurations that feature the following processors – Intel Core i7-8565U, Intel Core i5-8265U, and Intel Core i3-8145U. Graphics-wise, we are looking at the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620. We are also aware that these laptops will feature up to 16GB of RAM and up to 2000GB SSD for storage. Of course, these are the configs in sale for now but there may be others in the future.

Moving on to the display, it is encompassed by super tiny bezels. It is interesting how the top frame incorporates discretely the webcam. We are looking at a 13.3-inch display that has two panel options – a Full HD (1920 x 1080), IPS one and a 4K UHD (3840 x 2160), IPS option.

What’s more, this playboy is only 7.8 – 11.63 mm thick and its elegant chassis weighs 1.27 kg. Nonetheless, you are provided with many connectivity options – 2x USB Type-C 3.1 (3.1 Gen 2) ports (Thunderbolt 3, Power Delivery (PD), DisplayPort, HDMI), 1x USB Type-C 3.1 (3.1 Gen 2) connector (Power Delivery (PD), DisplayPort), a microSD card reader, and more. Additionally, Dell has included a fingerprint reader for enhanced data protection and a backlit keyboard.

Dell XPS 13 (9380) will have to face the competition of notebooks such as HP ENVY 13.
