These are the notebooks which currently have the latest Intel Core i7-5700HQ and their prices

Intel has recently released its Intel Core i7-5700HQ CPU, which is one of the most popular and powerful CPU’s currently on the market. The processor is based on the Broadwell architecture, it has four fast cores clocked at 2.7 and can go up to 3.5 GHz. In addition, the CPU integrates Intel HD Graphics 5600 GPU and dual-channel LPDDR3-1866/DDR3L-1600 memory controller. The “Tick” in Intel’s Tick-Tock model is represented by Broadwell. This means a shrink of its predecessor’s 22nm process Haswell to 14nm with transistors being three-dimensional FinFET. It allows improved energy efficiency, as well as significantly smaller die size fit. The performance per clock has been increased by more than 5% over its predecessor, due to the improved branch prediction, bigger buffer sizes and some other changes.

In terms of performance, the Core i7-5700HQ is close to the Haswell-based Core i7-4800MQ (2.7–3.7 GHz), thanks to its improved architecture. This means that the CPU provides enough power for demanding applications, games and intense multitasking.

There seems to be a problem with the new 5700-HQ causing BSOD due to “Machine Check Error”. Users from all over the world are complaining on forums. Hopefully some patches or updated drivers will be released soon to fix this issue.
