Toshiba Satellite L50-C’s panel uses PWM across all brightness levels, but it will be uncomfortable only for those with sensitive eyes

Despite the fact that the Satellite L50-C houses an IPS Full HD (1920×1080) panel that can be rarely found at this price range, it might be a deal-breaker for some due to the PWM we’ve recorded.

However, the frequency of the emitted light is as high as 20 kHz meaning it will cause eye strain only on those with more sensitive eyes. In addition, the screen flickering effect is absent at 100% as you can see from the graph below.
