Top 5 reasons to BUY or NOT buy the Lenovo ThinkBook 14
The Lenovo ThinkBook 14 is a good looking device that is built out of aluminum and plastic. It has some interesting security features like a TPM chip and a camera shutter. The laptop can be configured with a big variety of 10th gen Intel Comet Lake or Ice Lake processors.
That means you can have a 6-core ULV CPU like the Core i7-10710U or you can enjoy a fast CPU/iGPU combo with the Intel Core i7-1065G7. For those who need more graphics power, the top dedicated GPU option is the AMD Radeon 630 which is a decent unpretentious graphics card. 4 reasons to BUY the Lenovo ThinkBook 14
1. Good battery life
We were able to squeeze over 11 hours of Web browsing and more than 9 hours of video playback from the battery – a good result.
2. Upgradability
Wow, this time we don’t have a laptop with entirely soldered memory – good. You can upgrade the RAM of the laptop with up to 24GB-2666 MHz with the Comet Lake options and 16GB-3200 MHz with the Ice Lake CPUs. In addition, you can add a fast NVMe drive.
3. I/O rich in ports
The ports selection of this notebook looks more than fine for a machine in this price category. On the left, we have an RJ-45 connector, an HDMI 1.4b connector, a USB Type-A 3.1 (Gen. 1) port, and two USB Type-C ports (one is 3.1 (Gen. 1) and the other is 3.1 (Gen. 2), a DisplayPort, and a headphones jack. On the right – one more USB Type-A 3.1 (Gen. 1) port, an SD card reader, and a covered USB Type-A 2.0 port.
4. The display part 1
The IPS display (Chi Mei N140HAC-EAC CNM14D4) has a 1080p resolution, superb viewing angles, good contrast ratio – 1260:1 (1160:1 after profiling), and the PWM it uses has a high frequency so its safe for long hours of work.

1 reason not to BUY the Lenovo ThinkBook 14
1. The display part 1
The bad part of the display is that it has a really low sRGB color coverage – just 54%.
