    Die Jahre 2020 und 2021 waren bisher eine Achterbahnfahrt, aber während alles geschlossen wurde und wir ein ziemlich interessantes Leben geführt haben, an das wir uns sicher noch lange erinnern werden, ist eine Sache nicht stehen geblieben und geht weiter.

    Die Laptop-Industrie ist dabei, größer zu werden als je zuvor, und da viele Menschen von zu Hause aus arbeiten, braucht die Welt dringend mobile Geräte. Heute wollen wir uns die Zeit nehmen und über die Laptops sprechen, die unser Interesse geweckt haben und mit Sicherheit im Jahr 2022 zu den Bestsellern gehören werden, wenn sie es nicht schon sind.

    Das erste Notebook, das mit Intels diskreter Iris Xe Max-Grafik auf den Markt kommt, ist da. Seit Radeons Hauptverantwortlicher Raja Koduri das Unternehmen 2017 verlassen hat, um ausgerechnet zu Intel zu wechseln, hat er still und leise im Verborgenen gearbeitet, und seine Arbeit ist nun endlich auf dem Markt angekommen, und während die integrierte Grafikfamilie, die in den Tiger Lake-CPUs enthalten ist, leistungsstark ist, ist die Iris Xe Max noch besser.     Das lange angekündigte 14-Zoll MacBook Pro ist endlich da, und es scheint die Welt im Sturm zu erobern. Wie das MacBook Pro 13 und das MacBook Air, die letztes Jahr auf den Markt kamen, verfügt auch dieses Gerät über einen M1-Chip. Allerdings wird das hauseigene Apple-Silizium jetzt in drei weiteren Varianten angeboten – M1 Pro (8 Kerne), M1 Pro (10 Kerne) und M1 Max, der ebenfalls 10 Rechenkerne besitzt. Darüber hinaus gibt es eine ganze Reihe von Modellen mit integrierter Grafik. Das ist zweifellos eine große Neuigkeit, aber noch wichtiger für Apple-Nutzer ist, dass sie mit einem 3024×1964 120Hz Liquid Retina-Panel mit Mini-LED-Hintergrundbeleuchtung verwöhnt werden, das das Beste aus der IPS- und OLED-Welt vereint.     Das MacBook Pro 16 wurde zeitgleich mit dem 14-Zoll-Modell auf den Markt gebracht und verfügt über nahezu die gleichen technischen Daten in Bezug auf den SoC. Natürlich hat es eine höhere Auflösung (3456×2234), um der größeren Bildschirmgröße Rechnung zu tragen. Und Apple erwartet enorme Verbesserungen gegenüber dem letzten 16-Zoll-Modell, das Intel-CPUs mit AMD-Grafik kombiniert hat. Noch besser ist, dass die niedrige Wattzahl der M1-Chips sowohl einen besseren Komfort als auch einen kompromisslosen Umgang mit der Batterieleistung ermöglichen wird. Wie das 14-Zoll-Notebook verfügt auch das 16-Zoll-MacBook Pro nun neben den drei Thunderbolt 4-Anschlüssen über einen HDMI-Anschluss und einen SD-Kartenleser. Außerdem hat Apple wohl oder übel den MagSafe Ladestecker wiederbelebt.
