The 5.5-inch Honor 4X display showed good results in our thorough tests

dcA couple of days ago we showed you the in-depth review of Honor 4X, and just recently we updated it with detailed camera and display tests. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch IPS screen with HD resolution (1280×720 pixels). The pixel density is 267ppi, which is nothing out of the ordinary. As expected, because of the IPS panel, the visibility angles were pretty good.

The average maximum brightness we got was 509 cd/m2, and contrast ratio was 1210:1. In other words – good results. 92% of the sRGB color gamut is covered, which means that you can enjoy relatively saturated colors. Color accuracy is moderate as well. We measure the white level distribution with a gamma curve, which in this case is almost identical to the optimal one. Also important is our pulse-width modulation test. The screen doesn’t flicker on all brightness levels.

You can see everything you may want to know about Honor 4X in its detailed review.
