5.5-inch screen and Snapdragon 400
HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle is the latest representative of the mid-range Desire lineup. Its display is 5.5-inch big and offers HD (1280 x 720 p) resolution, which ensures image detail of 267 ppi (enough not to be able to discern the separate pixels if we are looking at the display from 33 cm or more). Moreover, the Super LCD technology provides high brightness levels allowing you to use the phone under direct sunlight. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, although the manufacturer does not note what is the generation of this protection.
The smartphone uses the relatively old Snapdragon 400 chip, clocked at up to 1.4 GHz, but the available 2GB of RAM and Android 6.0 OS ensure snappy operation for your everyday tasks. Additionally, the 2700 mAh battery should ensure a whole day of use. As far as storage goes, the phone has 16GB internally which can be expanded via the microSD card slot.
Elegant design and 13MP camera
Desire 10 Lifestyle boasts attractive looks. Its construction is made of matte plastic and you have several color options of it. Also, along the corners and the edges of the camera there is a metal lining which brings premium feel.
The phone’s main camera is 13MP with f/2.2 aperture and a 28mm lens. Also present are autofocus and an LED flash. Just like every other contemporary smartphone, the Desire 10 Lifestyle has HDR and panorama capabilities. Furthermore, the BSI (back-illuminated sensor) allows you to take better photos in poorly lit environments or at night. The model can also record Full HD (1920 x 1080 p) video at 30 fps.
The front 5MP camera has an f/2.8 aperture, and a 34mm lens. It also features an HDR mode and can record Full HD videos.
BoomSound audio system
Another characteristic feature of many HTC models is the presence of a refined audio system. HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle, too, is targeted at music fans as it offers the new stereo loudspeakers BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition, allowing for a great audio experience.
One of the two loudspeakers takes car of the lows and serves as a subwoofer, whereas the second one – for the mids and highs. This contributes to more tone depth and clarity which are rarely to be found on a mobile device.
HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle is Hi-Res audio certified and reproduces sound recorded at a frequency of 192kHz and 24 bits.
