One of the main changes in the Neo version lies within the SoC. The available RAM remains the same – 2GB.

Galaxy S5 Neo has 16GB of internal storage, but for those who think that it won’t be enough, there is a microSD memory card slot supporting up to 128GB.

The resolution of the screen is Full HD providing highly detailed images, especially since we’re talking about a 5.1-inch display. Pixel density is 432 ppi and in addition to that, the screen features a Super AMOLED panel having very vivid, bright colors with high contrast ratio as well as wide viewing angles.

Normally, the device inherits the appearance of its namesake. This means that it has the same textured back panel and 8.1 thickness. The dust and waterproof certificate is also present and the device can be submerged under water for up to 1 meter and up to 30 minutes.

The battery of Galaxy S5 Neo has 2800mAh capacity and according to Samsung it should provide up to 13 hours of Wi-Fi Web browsing or video playback, up to 15 hours of talk time and up to 73 hours of music playback. On top of that the battery is removable making it easily swappable when you’re low on charge. All of the perks of Samsung’s UI are also present here including the Ultra Power Saving mode that allows you to greatly extend the remaining battery life by limiting the phone’s features to its basic ones and turning the screen into black and white mode.

The rear camera of the device has a 16MP sensor with autofocus and LED flash. However, there is a significant improvement in the front-facing unit and now boasts 5MP resolution and offers a lot of new features, including the wide angle selfie and taking a photo with a voice comand.
