As the years pass by, China is coming with more and more interesting and actually well-built devices. One of them is the Teclast F15 laptop, that looks astonishing. Especially for its $399 price tag. Spec-wise this laptop features really great hardware for the price asked. Yes, its processor (Intel Celeron N4100) is not the most powerful with its four cores running from 1.10 to 2.40 GHz. Then, in order to give you some multitasking headroom – you have 8GB of LPDDR4 memory, while the storage comprises one M.2 slot, which is taken by a 256GB SSD.

In addition to that, the laptop supports 802.11b/g/n/ac, that works on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Its connectivity continues with two USB Type-A 3.0 ports, an HDMI connector and a MicroSD slot, neatly put at the back of the machine. Moreover, the laptop has an Audio jack on the right, and to correspond with the hole from the 3.5 mm jack, there is the DC plug hole on the left.

What Teclast did, that many manufacturers don’t do anymore, is to put a service lid for easy upgrade of that M.2 SSD – it will basically take five seconds to swap it out. By the way, there are two more impressive features of the F15 – it has extremely narrow bezels, and its touchpad is huge – closer to the size of a MacBook one, rather than an ordinary Windows laptop device.

Last, but not least is its battery life, which Teclast state is going to last around 7 hours of “mixed-use” (whatever that means) and 5 hours of video playback. This is usually not great, but for this price point, and with a 41.8 Wh capacity, it is forgivable.
