Dell Latitude 14 5431 review – the more power is worth it

There are different types of business laptops. Some need to be lightweight, snappy, and ready to get out of your bag ASAP. Others rely on more room for cooling because they either have to crunch large numbers or complex scenes.

This is exactly how the Dell Latitude 14 5431 has sprung into action. It is a beefier, more powerful version of the Latitude 14 5430. There is a chance, that these two machines are very close, so a decision may be made based on price, cooling, or portability.

What we know for sure, is that this machine will have a lot of performance. It is equipped with Intel’s Alder Lake P-series processors, maxing out with the Core i7-1270P. Indeed, it is not the flagship of the series, but it is still a very capable CPU.

In contrast to the thinner model, the Latitude 14 5431 can be equipped with a dedicated GPU. Yes, it is not a super powerful one – the NVIDIA GeForce MX550, but it can still accelerate some processes thanks to its CUDA cores.
