日本[Comparison] Intel Core i7-12650H vs AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS – Thinner laptops should be happy that these two exist
Both the Core i7-12650H and the Ryzen 7 6800HS are designed for thinner notebooks that still want to keep their performance on a high level, being found in laptops like the ASUS TUF Dash F15 and the Zephyrus G-series. Intel obviously had the better 2022, but AMD is still able to strike back in the low-wattage segments, with better efficiency and still good performance.

CPU benchmarks
The Ryzen 7 6800HS comes with more 3D Rendering performance, scoring 16% higher in Cinebench R23. Moving onto Photoshop, the Intel CPU is quicker, finishing 0.5 seconds faster.

Conclusion
It gets pretty clear that once we enter lower TDPs, AMD really can claw back some victories against Intel, including once we drop down to the ULV segment. However, the Core i7-12650H really only comes with 10 cores whereas powerful P-series CPUs like the Core i7-1280P and even the Core i5-12500H have 14 and 12 cores, respectively, bringing a bigger punch and being able to put many of AMD’s 6000-series CPUs to rest.
