ASUS ROG Strix G16 (G614, 2023) review – it has a huge cooling potential

ASUS is one of the brands that just can’t stop innovating. From technology that is premiered on the market, to one that is being popularized – like the OLED panels found in many affordable ASUS laptops.

However, this was one of the first major notebook brands that employed liquid metal for its CPU thermal compound. Now, the ROG Strix G16 (G614, 2023) comes with the same compound found over its HX-series Raptor Lake processor.

This is one of the big differences between this machine, and the TUF Gaming F15 (FX507, 2023), bar the screen size. We have to take into consideration the fact that both notebooks feature 140W GPUs (for the most part).

ASUS also has something else up its sleeve when it comes to cooling – a third fan. However, there is more up to it as we’ve seen on commercial images. In a moment, you are going to learn what exactly manages the thermals of this product.
