If you want to remove the bottom panel, you have to unscrew 9 Torx-head screws. Then, you can pry the plate with a plastic tool starting from the zone between the hinges.

There is a thermal pad on the inside of the metal bottom plate for cooling the preinstalled SSD.

Our laptop has a 57Wh battery which is the base version. For longer autonomous work, you can get the optional 71Wh unit. If you want to take out the battery, you have to pull out the connector from the mainboard. The next step is to undo the 4 Phillips-head screws that are keeping the unit in place. It lasts for 12 hours and 30 minutes of Web browsing or 8 hours and 20 minutes of video playback. Considering the modest capacity and the high processor frequencies under any kind of load, this result is very good.

The memory here is soldered but the maximum amount of 32GB of LPDDR5-4800MHz RAM in dual-channel mode seems future-proof. In terms of storage, there are two M.2 slots – one is compatible with Gen 4 SSDs while the other one is for Gen 3 NVMes.

The cooling solution looks potent. It has two fans, two heat pipes, a couple of heatsinks, and a massive heat spreader. The soldered memory is also protected by a metal shroud.
