日本Recensione dell’Acer Predator Helios 18 (PH18-71): la RTX 4080 è assolutamente pazzesca
Recentemente alcuni produttori hanno iniziato a infrangere le norme sulle dimensioni degli schermi. È così che il fattore di forma da 16 pollici si è fatto strada nel mondo, dominato dai computer da 13, 14, 15 e 17 pollici.
Ora è arrivato il momento di un altro intervento nella matrice. E questo sembra ancora più audace del passaggio dai dispositivi da 15 a 16 pollici. Preparatevi alla tendenza dei notebook da gioco da 18 pollici, a partire dall’Acer Predator Helios 18 (PH18-71). Aggiungete la strana opzione del pannello Mini LED WQXGA a 250 Hz e otterrete una macchina da gioco molto interessante.
Ma elogiare questo dispositivo per il suo grande display sembra un po’ irrispettoso. Perché? Perché è dotato delle ultime novità di Intel e NVIDIA. Con una combinazione di Core i9-13900HX e NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080, questa macchina deve essere una bestia.
Non solo, ma la GPU ha un TGP di 175W, che è completamente folle. Considerate il fatto che in passato le schede grafiche con TGP elevato richiedevano notebook spessi e ingombranti. Con il Predator Helios 18 non è proprio così. Ma prima di parlarvi di questo, potete dare un’occhiata alla scheda tecnica.

Cosa c’è nella confezione?
All’interno della confezione abbiamo trovato alcuni documenti, un enorme caricabatterie da 330 W e un paio di tappi di raffreddamento per offrire alcune opzioni di personalizzazione.

I was so suprised that i found a review for Acer Helios 18 but disappointed after that there is no MiniLED version 🙁

It’s in the stock in Germany now. 3200 Euro for 4080 and normal IPS display.
Why are you posting benchmarks of the 2023 helios against the 2022 of everyone else. Based on everyone of those benchmarks the acer loses to every other 2023 offering with the same equipment…
Warum die Tests in HD? Das ist Total unrealistisch, zumal das Notebook einen QHD Bildschirm hat 🤷♂️
Does it have 175W TGP? On the acer page and everywhere else I read that it only got 165W!? It would be much more interesting to compare this with other RTX 40XX cards and also other 4080s with the full 175W TGP..
And yes I also agree to others that it does not make any sense to have benchmarks in FHD while the laptop itself come in 1600p…
Would be nice if this could be updated otherwise this test is quite useless..

The tests are in FHD for comparison purposes, we didn’t have the chance to test with more resolutions
how far will the lid go back…. is it maxed in that photo?
